We understand that finding a qualified caregiver when you need one most can be a complicated process for most people, families and healthcare providers. At Girling Health Care of NY, we recognize the challenges that you face. That is why we adhere to a rigorous screening and recruitment process to ensure that every employee is providing the utmost in quality, care and the highest level of professionalism each and every day.

We use the following screening procedures and practices for each and every employee to guarantee you are getting the best in quality, skill and professionalism every time:

  • In-depth interview’s to establish skills and experience
  • A Criminal background check according to state guidelines
  • License/certificate verification in accordance with state law and requirements
  • Continual license status monitoring throughout employee tenure
  • Reference checks via phone or mail
  • State health screenings as required by law
  • Drug Screening

Once employee’s are screened and approved for hire they undergo:

  • In-office orientation prior to placement
  • Employee performance reviews, with client input, at the following intervals
  • One week after placement
  • Once every quarter thereafter
  • At the end of each assignment
